Debut as Tap dancer on Broadway at the age of 12 in The Tap Dance Kid. He innovated tap dance by combining the emphasis of jazz with funk.
Fame came to him with the show Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk 1995, for which he received a Tony Award as Best Choreographer.
